What Helps Us Give You a Useful Answer
None of this is required, and every bit of it makes the first conversation better:
- The address, or at least the town. It decides the drive and, for a consent, which council.
- What the job is, in a sentence: a bathroom, a wall out, a deck, a door that needs replacing, a list of repairs.
- The age of the house, roughly. A 1970s brick house and a 2016 subdivision house are different jobs to open up.
- Photographs, if you have them. Phone photos of the room, the site or the damage are plenty.
- Any timing - a sale, a baby, a summer you want the deck for.

No. Adam looks at the job and puts a written price in front of you, and what you do with it is up to you.
How quickly can you come out?
Usually within a few days for a look and a quote. Spring and summer are the busy months for decks and outdoor work, so the earlier you ring the sooner it gets done.
Can you give me a rough price over the phone?
Adam will happily talk you through what drives the cost of a job like yours, and he will not give you a number for a house nobody has looked at. Anyone who does is guessing, and the guess is always lower than the eventual invoice.
Do you work outside Selwyn?
The south-western side of Christchurch, yes, regularly, and Mid Canterbury - Rakaia, Ashburton and Methven - as well. Further than that is a conversation - ring and ask.
